exactly my thought. if they all get unbanned at the SAME TIME its different then working on it one by one and quickly losing interest after finding out itâs dead.

what punishment would you suggest? cause mfs broke the rules in some sort of way. this about the same as saying ââyeah my friend went to prison for money laundering, but oyu know brodie cant learn from his mistake in prison so you know, free my guyââ

Temp banning, instead of just permanent banning people work off in purgatory. Tbh I think it teaches others about their mistakes and shows them some consequences and if they repeat this permanent ban. I donât really have the best ideas on this so I donât really got any ideas on how ti correct this xd. sorry!

You guys tend to forget how nice Munchy is to even have a purgatory server that gets you a free unban, on top of a free one if it lasted for over a year. Compared to other servers, bans would not even allow you to login into the server and could only get revoked through an appeal. (If the reason is even valid) 
Appeals and apologising can lower the punishment. Appeals about bans from over a year get you a free unban. Working for an unban on purgatory is a guaranteed unban. What else is needed?? Risking the safety of the server unbanning everyone including people that donât necessarily deserve it?? It is the job of the staff team to ban them yet itâs also their job to ensure the safety of the game mode by not risking bringing back cheaters that would never learn nor cooperate. 
I do understand that kit is just⌠inactive, like really but unbanning a huge wave of people without even understanding nor having a clear sight of their intentions after it doesnât sound like the cleverest idea to meâŚ
But I also know that some do deserve unbans and if they at least somewhat cared a little bit, they would know about all those processes of getting unbanned and wouldnât currently waste their time.
But hey, thatâs my take and itâs already midnight. Iâm in need of sleep and have a test tomorrow⌠gotta make a logo with Adobe illustrator and I hate the fact that Iâm lacking of imagination.

I never knew people banned from over a year get back for free, thatâs nice I might tell my friend. Honestly good opinion you are right in a lot of senses especially how no one can confirm what happens if we unban all and I do believe that some might be fine but yeah itâs one of those things where it might be hard individually unbanning everyone slowly again whoâs cheating so I think your right on that sense.

im sorry but no one fking plays anymore bro LOOLOLOL id rather have everyone cheat than have 2 players on who are also afk in the spawn ??? ?? if they punishment + blacklist wiped there would be players again on an essentially dead server (especially referring to kitpvp)

In my humble opinion I was absolutely astounded when I heard that banned players were openly allowed to alt, in my humble opinion surely an unban all would be harmless then? Cheating isnât the end of the world imo and shouldnât be treated as such - 90% of the pvp player base has cheated or does cheat. Iâd rather play with cheaters/ex-cheaters than see 4 people online at peak hours. I think itâs the only way to bring back a large portion of the playerbase. A lot of my old friends are banned or blacklisted and they are some of the best people i know / played with I believe completely in second chances. An unban all is the only way to really revive the core player base munchy used to have.

Cheating is inevitable on kitpvp as it is already dead and alot of people still cheat so unbanning everyone would be very beneficial for the server as it would be more active and not a dead server as it is right now

It seems to me that you are confused. First of all, nobody who wants to get unbanned is doing purgatory when alting is allowed except for some noobs (and the post isnât even referring to those types of people). Second of all, the post is about reviving kitpvp. The burden of revival is on the staff team, not the playerbase. If you want your server to thrive, you are the one responsible for bringing players in. You are speaking about this subject as if the point is to help banned players, which it isnât. Anyone who wants to closet cheat on Munchy isnât going to be stopped by a ban on one of their accounts, assuming closet cheaters actually do get banned, which they donât. I donât agree with the idea, but your approach is completely wrong.

Sorry if it happened to sound like it. I am aware of the discussion which is about reviving Kitpvp through a punishment purge. Am I wrong? Please do correct me if the topic of the discussion isnât this.
To make it short, I am against it because 1) bans arenât something to be purged at a set-time as you get to deserve an unban through an appeal/working for it and 2) I do not believe risking the serversâ game experience through a massive unban wave would solve the issue as it will obviously affect banned people that wouldnât care to cheat again and ruin one playerâs experience!
Maybe you guys love it when there is toxicity, I get it because thatâs how Kit is. Yet, I can see people complaining about cheaters and easily get annoyed by them, which is something to deal with sure by moderators, but also not to make it resurge from a punishment wipe out. Better safe than sorry! (I wonât speak about the alting to escape a ban because even I donât understand why such a thing is tolerated) 
Iâm not managing any kind of community but I wouldnât rely on a risky ban reset for a group of people that can cheat at anytime just to revive a player base because there will be members of that player base who wouldnât stand with potential cheaters being brought back or excessive toxic people, which would make them leave and the player base wouldnât really grow. So Iâd try and find out less risky ideas, advertising the server, getting it updates, upgrading the anti-cheat system etc!

the issue is, with the things you suggested, 99% of people who would care about that stuff is banned. getting new players is possible, but it would require immense amounts of advertising which i just frankly believe munchy cares enough for. at the end of the day, the sad but very real truth is that pvp, especially kitpvp, is just dying. the best and most effective way to get people back would be to letting the most dedicated back on.
there was also a point brought up about alting, and how it wouldnt matter if there was an unban all. this is extremely true, and i genuinely believe that it would actually benefit the community to unban their mains (including blacklisted players because i know for damn sure they do it too). think of it this way. these players are going to keep coming back on alts they dont care about, most likely break the rules, and come back on another 5 minutes later. however, by letting these players use their main accounts instead, usually their account with a rank, stats, and a name built around that account and ign in the community, they will be a hell of a lot less likely to get repunished on their main accounts, or do anything risking another ban/blacklist based on what it would take just for them to be unpunished the first time. without a doubt, they are going to be some that just simply dont care, and do the same thing that got them punished again, however overall i believe that its not only going to bring back alot of the community, but it will also clean it up a bit as people come back on their main accounts.
just my two cents, would really like to see some familiar faces back on the server who cant play anymore.
