● Build Coordinates: 7665 111 4716
● All team members IGN’s: Mysaan
● Favourite History Film and why: Bold of you to think I like history.

Hehehe

This build is inspired of the ancient history of minecraft. The earlier versions and the classic dirt hut. There’s totally no suspicious paintings but maybe you should walk through them anyway just for fun :person_shrugging:

Also yes, I did speedrun this, it’s not great but it was fun at least and I got to look at some of my old mc worlds so def worth it.

Image of build.

The build is kinda small so I’ll let you explore the rest :)

Hi this is my second build comp and I’m so still not working it 4 hours before due date hahahaha…
A little summary of my build:
Hidden in what seems to be a very unassuming Dry Erase Board :tm: (not related to build I just got bored and couldn’t decide to put on the outside) is the hidden city of Draugrheim The Home of Spirits. In this town is everything a person in old Norse times could need Including but not limited to; A butcher, A lodge, a shady black-market (???), and even a Mead Hall! Also Watch out! Thor may have been at the Mead Hall just a little too much and keeps sending his lightning strike down through the middle of town. Visitors are welcomed just be warned- you never know what lays in the shadows.

Name of build: Draugrheim (if I translated right literally ghost/spirit home haha)
Build Coodinates: -2411 64 972
Team members: me (McGhosty1300) and FrostyGhost0
Favorite History Film: hmmm I know its not really accurate or really a movie but I really like Hamilton because I love musicals TBH. The only other “based on a true story” movies I watch are ghost related (surprised? :slightly_smiling_face:)

The temple is based on the Temple of Zeus in Olympia. It housed the Statue of Zeus, which was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

  • Name of Build: What Hides in the Frozen Wastes
  • Build Coordinates: 7798 102 7714
  • All team members IGN’s: Bobby123xnd, Monesteir, Nadis_Nadis, Tarteris, TheFireGamer210
  • Favourite History Film and why: Tart says “Argo” bc its an interesting look at semi-recent political events. She likes how it shows international conflict in a realistic spy scenario. (The Canadians deserved way more credit!)

Description: This build references an imaginary history where the Ancient Builders visited MunchyMC. Did they want fortune? Friendship? Fun mini-games? Serverwide domination 4 seasons later? We’ll perhaps never know. All we can do now is wander the strange structures they left behind and speculate.

Inspiration pulled from the Ancient Builder minecraft lore, Stargate SG 1, the movie Prometheus and broadly the work of H. R. Giger.

I love it, also the surrounding area in photo 1 looks familiar I think I’ve been there unless it was made manually

  • Name of Build: Peach’s Castle from Mario 64
  • Build Coordinates: 10291, -10435
  • All team members IGN’s: LilithLuvsYa, Rurus_, nvmReality, LogicaLampshade, CataCrystaI
  • Favourite History Film and why: I would have to say Dunkirk because I think they capture what that experience was like for the soldiers involved. I don’t think I have seen too many other history films.

I hope you enjoy this recreation of Peach’s Castle!! When I heard we could build something from fictional history I immediately ran to classic video game history! What’s MORE classic?? Enjoy!

  • Name of Build: Brimstone Sands
  • Build Coordinates: -6753 73 -9644
  • All team members IGN’s: Avilani
  • Favourite History Film and why: Hacksaw Ridge, a story inspired by true events of US Army Medic Desmond Doss that went in and saved many soldiers when others were ordered to retreat.

Now for my build…Brimstone Sands is a city in an mmo game called New World. New World takes inspiration from many places including Roman and Egyptian mythologies, as well as 17th century living.
I wish I would have had more time to build the statues and more detail (works been busy) but I did manage to build every building in the city.
Some screenshots of the build:
