Every time I try to join, it gets stuck on “Connecting to the server…” and comes up with an error message “io.netty.channel.ConnectTimeoutException: connection timed out”. Is there a reason for this? I have the correct ip (munchymc.com) and I’m on 1.8.9 lunar client. I haven’t been able to join for months

Are you able to connect to other servers, or is it just Munchy?
You could try connecting using an alternative IP (munchypvp.com, invadedhg.net, na-hg.com, mc-prison.com).
If that doesn’t work, open a support ticket at MunchyMC - Help Center which will get you direct communication with the staff team, and will likely help you resolve your issue the quickest.

This has been said already, but you should try opening a support ticket which will get your problem directly to staff, and should resolve your problem quicker.
