It’s been quite a while since my last forum topic (I don’t remember it at all and I’m too lazy to check) so here is a topic, with this introduction. Yes.
Hope that everyone’s doing really great~ 2024 is coming to an end and to at least shake the forums a little, I’d love to know how this year treated you! Was it one of the best? One of the worsts? How productive you were? What have you accomplished? Feel free to share you guys experience!
Personally, 2024 was quite an interesting year. As of right now, I’m on my third year of software engineering and I do not sleep at all. Most of the time, I’m concerned about it since I don’t really know if it’s something I like… I mean I’m not bad but I’m not the greatest either but it’s still fun I guess… besides, everything else has been really chill!
Took time to go out more often and touch grass literally, hanging out with friends and family has been really relieving and I truly valued and still to this day value those occasions!
if bad stuff happened this year then it was REALLY bad and if good stuff happened it was VERY good it was a very interesting year, my life completely changed not going to lie
If I had to say I’m tired candle, really tired. Agreeing with Zekcsi above, Things have gotten astonishingly bad and bewilderingly good a lot of the time.
I already have to work on forum posts before the month is up and it’s a little fun but sucks at the same time, I won’t put everything that happened in my life into this post but December is gonna be well I’m guessing and I hope it is for you too.
this year was a strange one for me tbh. i agree with the above for sure, this was probably my best and worst year at the same time. the good times i had were probably the best ever i had, but the bad times were the worst i’ve ever experienced. my good times were absolutely phenomenal and i wish they could have lasted. strangely enough, for the past three years, all my good months and bad months have been the same (ex. may june july august were peak, sept oct nov were the worst) so I’m hoping to break that september and so on streak of bad for 2025 ;)
