CALLING ALL GAMEMAKERS!
Introducing Game maker’s first official competition upon its recent release!
In celebration of both our Summer months, as well as Munchy’s new release of GameMaker, we are calling on all of our talented creators to show off their newly learned talents.
The theme for this first competition will be: Summer Festival 
We encourage all participants to expand on this theme as creatively as possible! Anything that reminds participants of their summers away from school, vacations, and more… Let your game be as unique to this theme as you let it!

All submissions must be completed by August 23rd, 2024 @ 12PM EST. Incomplete or late submissions at this time will not be considered for prizes.

Solo creations & Team creations are allowed. For teams, you may not have more than 5 players work on your submitted creation.

Only one creation may be submitted per player/team. Players may not work on multiple creations throughout the duration of this event. If your team needs to swap a player out of your group, please contact one of the listed judges below to confirm your ‘swap’.

No inappropriate or offensive builds, creations, or signs within your game.

Players are allowed to use schematica/litematica to create builds within their games. Modifications such as printer are not permitted.

Submitting others’ work as your own will result in disqualification from the competition. You will not be given a chance to resubmit. This includes taking full credit for a co-operative build.

Submissions may not be pre-built maps before the creation of this post. Please create a new map for this competition. Old maps may not be re-purposed for this map.

All members of the community are allowed and encouraged to participate in this competition. Staff members included!
Please read all rules carefully before starting your creation. Failure to follow any of the above rules will result in disqualification.
