That’s about it. Some personal thoughts I have is that prestiging should be a lot harder. After you prestige once, prestiging again doesn’t really have the same feeling. I think competing to be the first to prestige is one of the most fun parts of Start of the map.
Also I’ve always thought kiting is too easy this map and theres not many items to help you chase anyone.
I also think that a skill tree would be really cool to see. Instead of automatically getting a 2% boost to blocks dropped per level, you could instead get 2 skill points for mining and have options you could choose from instead. Like 2% sell boost or 2% mining speed or something. The skill system was a good addition to the game when it was released, but now it’s pretty boring imo and having a skill tree of sorts would actually make mining/farming/fishing more inviting to people who are usually not interested in it. Most games have them and they can really make a game more fun to play. Adding a skill tree is the thing i want most in map 11. (pls add this red its going to be fantastic trust me)

It should be a bit harder, but like the economy shouldnt be so bad like how it is now. Why are there even trillions or even near trillions. Like maps ago you’d be RICH ASFFFF if u even had a billion.

Revamp fishing would be big. fishing rn is weird and not even that good like i dont wanna just sit on my chair right clicking a rod every like 30 seconds getting a quick fish or hardfish.

only outside bro or HARD ASFFFFF inside cause why does coc start map have more myth pulls than myths outside…

please revive the hype of people getting myths, it is very easy to obtain one and i see this is because of increased odds (10r), warheads and crates, and if they just made it rarer it would actually make it like really finding a super rare exclusive item which is really hard to obtain and give you power status.

I think it’s fine as is, maybe just a litttlee less than rn

i think it is nice and there should be swaps aslong as it stays on map theme, since this one is multiverse it’s different themes but lets set an example for like Stranger Things, there could be like a switch between the normal stranger things world then on the switch there is The Upside Down!!

actually, by how easy the first prestige was on the first days, i think it should be A BIT harder, it is really fun competing for the first prestige, and I think the first prestige should be harder then the next ones not as hard, ykwim?

maybe keep this amount of kiting items but add more chasing items that’d be a good balance and something for new strategies

I think it would be cool if they made the skills more interactive because it’s just a standard UI with not much about what each perk is. I don’t necessarily think there needs to be rewards added for each level gained but maybe cute perks related to the skill. Also, it would be interesting if Prison could incorporate elements from Survival mall shops - so there can be an option to have the item itself displayed above the sign w/o using item grames. However, that does incorporate a lot of conplicated aspects I believe. There are many more developers that work on Survival. Another thing is that challenges could be approved with certain areas. For example, let’s be honest, tier 10 for arcade is a horrible option considering how much that’s being bid :sob: Like 10B for ONE event party pass and ONE mythical pass :face_exhaling: It just could be much more. Perhaps even incorporate more things in the fishing challenge because I feel that some challenges are worth, while others aren’t. Lastly, I would enjoy seeing more things added onto prestige shop. I lowkey do miss ultra crates on there :sob: but it’s understandable considering Map 10 events… iykyk.

Honestly, I don’t feel that E-Dust works. Like, everytime I’ve found a mythical, it’s been from an non-enchanted chest. Though, I’m not the “best” looter. Asking for input from the top looters would be a good step. I know many of them feel that it’s bad - that it doesn’t increase the odds whatsoever and honestly, I agree to a certain degree. I don’t know how looting was previously before E-Dust was introduced. It seemed to work well in Map 9 but not much anymore.

I feel that prestiging is pretty difficult already but it was easier this map restart as many of us already what items we needed. It took a while for most players before 10R.

ALSO, please add more blocks to /build! I bought that pack so I can be a whole freaking designer. I gotta slay. I mean, don’t add items that will dupe ofc but add stuff that are ideal for building. I would do anything :pray:

I think this would be interesting to incorporate. I don’t know how it would work with prison but in other games I’ve played - Jedi Fallen Order solely focuses on this - it’s really dope.

They need to change the black market, every map I see it have items that stays on it because of it being overpriced or is simply just useless (like why would anyone want to buy a poison oak for 3b?), simply have a timer for each item or just remove it all together as cell-shops seem to receive a lot more attention. Personally I believe the start of the map reset was the best economy prison had since start of map 8. If they can somehow manage to keep that pace without adding no insane money making methods, a lot more people will continue to play.

From the time I played map 10R I actually thought fishing was in a pretty good spot outside of craz’s caster and the north pole. The idea behind fishing was never that it’s supposed to be this incredibly engaging activity. It’s supposed to be quite hands off, and because of that it gets outclassed by more active methods like Mining & Looting (as it should).

As a matter of fact, of all the core activities in prison, I think fishing is in a better spot than every other source of income/loot in the game, i think red found a working formula, and that he shouldn’t change it.

If when you are fishing, fishing is the only thing you are doing, you are fishing incorrectly. put on a show/movie or do something in conjunction with it.

Yes, in my opinion if a mythical can be found within the first month of a map they are too common. I think the issue right now is that there are too many mythicals, so in order for there to be multiple copies of every mythical by the end of the map (as there should be) the odds need to be jacked up. I think having around 5 unique mythicals is probably a good number.

Mythicals should be rare enough that even towards the tail end of the map, somebody finding one is a drop everything to log on and hunt them event. It simply doesnt feel special when the top players have found mythicals in the double digits.

I think the current update schedule works quite nicely (decently sized updates weekly during the beginning months, with less updates as we get closer to a new map). although I would prefer completely new maps be released more often.

Prestige shop, easily, as well as the prestige system in general. if there is a maximum set of upgrades a player is able to obtain from it (i.e, maxing out the prestige shop) it should take several months to get there.

Not in its current state where there are so many different outside worlds, it would be nice if we had fewer outside maps (maybe 3 or so, plus a multiverse if it returns), having so many maps means that just by design some of them are going to be undesirable to loot in. It would be best for there to be only one map active at once in my opinion.

IMO Fishing should revamped a bit tho cause literally just sitting there watching a movie all day is boring. If the aspect of like sb fishing was in munchy itll be hellaaa good, unlocking mobs while u level up and killing them for xp and rewards. That’s not even a bad idea especially for how the state of fishing is rn. ( One ultra costing more than most legendaries )

  1. Prestiging doesn’t feel rewarding after like the 2-3rd prestige.

  2. MV isn’t an issue if done correctly. Let people get into MV when they feel like it rather then being a gamble and going afk for 2 hours and trying again.

  3. PvP should be #1 for obvious reasons (such as broken pvp items or items that need nerfing), same goes for bug fixes. Mining should be getting the most updates in terms of items being added next to looting.

  4. Myths aren’t rewarding. Myths back then are just extincts now. Also myths this map lack what a myth is supposed to be - really good and op, they are all just mid.

  5. I 100% agree with less kiting items / nerfed. I agree with less items in general. Especially high speed items (crack, fissionberry, mesc all caused issues this map) You shouldn’t need an item in your inventory to counter an item in their inventory. It turns into the point where you’re carrying 25 items and 2 pots and they’re carrying 25 items and 2 pots. It’s ridiculous.

  6. More pvp events would let more people / looters / pvpers to come into the server and compete

  7. Frequent updates (bug fixes, maybe adding a new item) with a big update every so often. Current updates are pretty decent but would definitely like for more bug fixes early on into the map. Early map is what determines how the rest of the map usually goes.

  8. prestige shop is underwhelming in certain skills and is very OP in others. Needs some tweaks although better than what we had before.

  10. thoughts on edust? My thoughts is that when you used to see people finding items in chat, it wouldn’t mean they take out an epic consumable and go click it and run back in within 30 seconds. It usually meant that whoever was finding said items, was out full set looting with legendaries, more than likely enchanting chests / buffing their odds with items they had on them. This allowed others to go and find them / track them down, it allowed for fun hunting. Edust is not good for early map progression

is 10r ending soon or is this post just named “end of map 10” for whatever reason?

I do not think a sea creature system like in Hypixel Skyblock would work quite as effectively as you think it would. I would however be open to there being a creature rare that allows you to fish up already existing mobs in the outside world to farm creature crates quickly. But I think trying to replace the entire leveling system with this would not work.

My reasoning for this is that Hypixel’s progression system is fundamentally different from prisons. the way Hypixel does it works because there is LOADS of custom tech put in to making it feel good, as well as a massive progression system outside the fishing track that the player needs to go through as well. Not only do I think it would take way too long to accomplish to the degree of excellence they have, but that it would be fundamentally incompatible with the rest of the game.

To address the final sentence of your reply, I think Craz’s caster and the North Pole were fundamentally unbalanced items at their core. I mentioned this briefly in my initial response, but I think they should be removed from the game.

If you have an item capable of slamming a direct 3-5x multiplier onto drops from some source, you should be extremely careful before you do anything that could buff that item in any way. Those items would work if you removed about 4 other items that work well in conjunction with them, and would have fit in perfectly in the map 7 or 8 fishing meta (as well as 9 if worms got removed). But I think the better choice would be to take them out of the game come map 11.

Another thing I feel like that needs to be changed is when specials are able to be found outside.

Why do we have to wait so damn long to be able to find specials outside on new maps? Why do we have to pay to get the specials then wait till the NEXT crate is out to be able to find the first crate items, it’s completely unfair to non p2w players, and no one irl deals anymore. It’s legit never addressed I don’t get how.

Yea I agree with that a bit, but they just need to do something with fishing, cause this isn’t it rn. Craz Caster and North Pole aren’t even bad ideas but they have items to bypass the durability but a chance, but it’s not even like its hard to get either, and overall it’s still just a bit too op. I don’t even know what they can do to like bring back fishing cause rn it’s just not really it.

Heres my follow up.

When I said should prestiging be more difficult, I meant the 1-3 prestiges. I should have specified it in the poll but I couldn’t change it because of the poll cooldown. (My bad). I don’t care how hard the prestiging is afterwards because the economy only really matters in the beginning of the map. I agree with what bhi said about prestiging only feeling rewarding the first couple times you do it. By the time you get to the third prestige the economy is usually f***ked at that point. IMO Red should just make the first prestige more difficult but keep the same exponential increase after each prestige. Everyone loves competition.

I enjoy playing the multiverse, but i’m not really a fan of the way it is currently set up. I’d rather everyone be able to go in as some sort of rare event (Like turf) rather than it being left up to chance.

That brings me to another point which is that I’d like to see more skill-based items instead of luck based. Rudolph hooves being % based for deactivation, hazard chestplate being % based, the epic swords being % based, you get the point. This obviously isn’t a big issue (especially if you don’t pvp) but it’s something I’d like to see worked on.

Personally I’d like to see more mobs like the warden and celestials. When start of the map dropped, I remember everyone in the gang just running around the multiverse for hours farming them. It was actually a really fun and creative addition to the game which I’d love to see more of.

Next the mythical situation. Or rather mythical inflation. (…ha…ha). So ever since map 7 ended, it seems that mythicals are just everywhere and current extincts have replaced them as the new myths. I personally hate that and I know that it’s probably getting worked on for map 11, but I’d like to put my thoughts out anyway. Extincts should remain as a “you-win” item but they should still remain extremely and i mean EXTREMELY rare. They should only be started to be found about halfway through the map. I’d like for only 4-5 of them to exist by the end of the map (This is how many Red originally wanted to exist but he underestimated how little lives munchy players had and we had way more than 4-5.)

Mythicals should also be much rarer. I’d like there to be at most 20-30 mythicals by the end of the game. bhi mentioned that mythicals are weak and unrewarding right now. But the problem isn’t that the mythicals are weak, its that there are so many different myths that if you look at them individually they seem weak. In reality they are still very strong. If they were much rarer and only a few people had them, it would be much more noticeable. For example, the dormammu bag I got in map 10 was considered op but thats only because it was the only myth at the time. NOW if you look at it, the dormammu bag is considered weak. That’s not because the bag itself sucks, but because there are so many more newer op items, the bag isn’t that strong anymore. This is why I want mythicals to be rarer, the way they were in map 7.

Here are 2 suggestions I have for next map.
1: Nerf crate of crates and similar items that can help you get mythical crates by a lot. Or at least nerf it at the start of the map and buff it later on. One of the reasons I quit this map was because a player found a mythical outside, opened his CoC, and got another mythical. Very unfun to compete with that so yeah.
2: The first 2-3 lottos shouldn’t be able to be a mythical. I know I got one (and dropped it) but when I had it, it was just way too broken. It gave the user full control over exit and made you unkillable. Not fun to go up against at all. Thats not to mention the fact that it was able to make me the most money in the game for weeks. (Though I didn’t use it for money because I didn’t really care about ranktop).
All in all, as long as mythicals arent rampant for the first half of the map, im bing chilling.

Next I should have clarified what I meant by the “should there be more pvp events like lotto and tesseract”. I meant should there be more pvp events like that AS OPPOSED to other events like golden grass, rainbow rush, bla bla bla. (my bad #2). But oviously as someone who left clicks a sword I would prefer more pvp events.

Another big point I wanted to speak upon was the world swapping. I’d be fine with multiple maps in rotation but I’d like something newer when the worlds swap instead of multiverse just to keep it fresh. I just think another multiverse duplicate would be a bit boring since we’ve already had it for map 10 and map 10R. (wow im such a greedy player). My preference would be 1-2 maps that stay and don’t change. This is mainly due to there being so many chest spots to memorize but thats like a skill issue i guess.

TLDR:
In conclusion the biggest change I want for next map is for mythicals to receive a significant nerf in their availability. More specifically the start of the map. Overall I’d say map 10 was enjoyable and I had fun playing it.

I think that many of the balancing issues with fishing could be fixed extremely easily, and aren’t really a big issue in my eyes.

I think fishing at its core is a fundamentally “boring” task, I am not saying that you are wrong on that. Even on Hypixel Skyblock, which you referenced as having a solution to this problem, it is seen as the most boring skill you could grind (besides foraging). I think this is partially by design, it is something you do when you don’t want to think too hard about complex strategies and setups for maximum output. I think the best that can be done is to create items that break the mold and make the activity different/more interesting than vanilla fishing. At least for me, this is something the Ugly Duckling Rod accomplished quite well.

I would argue that if worms had been removed from map 9, it would have been an extremely well balanced fishing meta.

Another thing I’d bring up is that in map 9, fishing had a plethora of rewards completely unique to it, and in map 10, many of these rewards have been made available from other sources. It would be nice to see fishing have more rewards exclusive to it.

Yea probably, same with like the ultra/epic reels from this map, but nothing gives that much xp like it shouldnt take literal months of grinding to get to fishing 100. It should just give more xp, and not have these op items
