Favourite things from each gamemode!

Heya!
I thought it would be fun to see what everyone’s favourite parts of all of the different gamemodes are!

If you main one gamemode, try to think of something you at least found cool or appealing in the other gamemodes, or a fun time you have had trying them out (unless you have literally never played on it). The point is to show appreciation for all parts of Munchy!

I’m hoping this might spread some positivity, and maybe inspire people to branch out to gamemodes they don’t play on very often/ have never tried before! :smiley:

I’ll go first (please don’t feel the need to write this much xd)!

Survival - I’ve been a surv main since I started playing Munchy, and honestly I couldn’t have asked for a better community. I have met some of the kindest people and some of my closest friends through surv. I find that there is always something to do - whether it’s mining, building, hosting/ playing in events, or just vibing, and I love how passionate the entire community (staff and players) are! There is competitiveness, of course, but the environment is always so wholesome and positive! Love you all! <3

Woolwars - I think woolwars as a gamemode is such a creative idea and I’m so glad that it’s part of Munchy! When I have played it, it’s been a lot of fun (even though I’m awful at it). Also, I really love seeing the amazing maps that people submit, and that players are able contribute in this way, and have their maps implemented!

Kitpvp - Yeahhh I’m not a pvp person by any means. One thing I admire about Kit, though, is that the kits seem cool and are completely unique to Munchy. I’ve also had some really fun experiences, like the time I completely destroyed @thycosmos in a 1v1 because he’s bad. :slight_smile: Cough he definitely didn’t just take his armour off and stand still.

Prison - I actually played prison a fair amount last map, with some friends, and it was a lot of fun! I really love the different aspects of gameplay and how they intersect with one another (looting, mining, fishing, farming, etc). There are very frequent updates as the map progresses, and I love how passionate the community is about the gamemode. The community is very different to survival’s, but I enjoy the less-regulated, intense environment as a contrast, and it’s a very entertaining place to be!

Survival games - To be honest, I’ve never really played surv games properly, but it does seem like a lot of fun, and I would definitely love to experience it more thoroughly in the future!

Survival - is cool i guess, i like the people there and i play survival there which my poor pc cant handle so 10/10

Woolwars - I like that minigame, i think it’s really unique and fun. Woolwars = pog so its 9/10 and its not 10/10 because vast kit got nerfed :(

Kitpvp - one of the gamemodes in maining (the other is survival) so i like it. I think the kits are very unique and fun. So yea, a solid 8/10, 8 because… cough im noob cough

Prison - 11/10

Purgatory - i know, its not a game mode but… haha trolling go BRRRRRRRRR
(also a perfect place for hackers/cheaters/rule breakers to suffer, telling this from experience :] )

Survival Games - idk i’ve never been there

I’ll go next! This is in order of how much I play!

WoolWars:

  • It is a very unique idea! Most people are very nice and it’s very fun to play! It also gets a good amount of updates! @BFI01 does a great job!
  • I also like how you many maps are made by the community!

Survival:

  • Survival is a very wholesome community! When I first joined, I got about five welcomes!
  • The overall layout of survival is very great!

Kitpvp:

  • Kitpvp has a lot of unique abilities about it and has events! :smiley:
  • A large percentage of players are nice and fair

Prison:

  • I don’t play Prison that often, but when I do, it is really fun!

Survival Games:

  • Survival Games is very friendly (to me at least) and is very fun to play! I don’t play that much, though.

This sounds so fun!!

Survival:
I main survival, so a majority of my time is spent there! I absolutely love talking with everyone and being able to help people out! I’ve made such good friends on there and have also made incredible memories! My favourite aspect of it is how supporting and kind the community is.

Wool Wars:
I don’t play wool wars often, but I think it’s very neat and creative to have as a game mode! I always adore seeing map submissions on the forums and watching what people come up with to play on!!

Survival Games:
I really like logging onto survival games with a group of friends and playing a few rounds! It’s honestly an underrated part of MunchyMC. The players there are really nice, too! There have been multiple times where they level out the battles and make things even by giving armour or tools to their opponent! I really appreciate that!

Prison:
If I’m honest, I’ve never left prison spawn. I think its really interesting, with the inclusion of gambling and the idea of ranking up! I’ve heard stories about friends boosting others, and cell decorations are fun to look at!

KitPvP:
Another game mode where I have never left spawn from. I’m not much for PvP but I have heard good things!! A majority of players there are kind and treat each other respectfully. I’ve also heard about some events that go on there, such as water drop or sumo! Its interesting to hear about!

KitPVP: it’s cool :sunglasses:. The staff, the events, the kits all chef’s kiss.
WoolWars: original idea but 0/10 because projectiles exist.
Survival: birb birb and birb. purpel/10
SG: cool map and surprisingly fun.
Prison: most non-toxic friendly environment. But for real, the concept of like having an outside world to loot and not just mine all day is cool.

Woolwars: Just the game in general, great community as well

SG: Hardly played although I have enjoyed the maps from what I have seen

Kitpvp: Really like the kits although I am not a fan of soup so I don’t play very much

Prison: Never played

Survival: The community, and the events are very fun

Purg: Adventure mode!

Survival - I’ve never played, but I’ve heard the community is great, and it looks like a lot of fun!

Woolwars - My main game mode :p i love the ww community, the maps, and the game mode in general. I’ve met so many friends thru this game mode <3

Kitpvp - I don’t really play this game mode on my main, although i have played it on my alt. the maps are gorgeous, and it is fun exploring the different kits.

Prison - I’ve never even been on prison, nor do I understand how it works, but it seems very complex and interesting!

Survival games - I’ve played 1 game before, a couple of months ago. it was very fun and reminds me of when I first started playing. its also where I got a screenie with bbh.

Purg ahh the memories. its where I made my first MunchyMc friend. 10/10 would not do again :smiley: :+1:

Survival - An amazing gamemode where I made a ton of friends. It was an amazing experience. Survival has a non-toxicc game mode and everyone is friendly. It really is amazing, I’m still friends with most of them even though I switched to kitpvp again. As tocca said, there are kind and just overall amazing people in survival. (Including tocca)

WoolWars - Another Amazing game mode I often play on from time to time. It has a decent player base and is really fun and exciting to play on. A lot of the players are nice, and the staff members are just amazing.

@AceCaptainRex - One of my best friends on Munchy, without this noob I don’t think I would have liked woolwars.

Kitpvp - Where do I begin? Kitpvp is an amazing game mode. Even though people say it’s toxic, a good amount of the players are also respectable and friendly. It’s amazing and I’m so grateful to all my friends on there, kitpvp has a variety of events and players. I understand the toxic side of kitpvp is often exaggerated but if you join, just make sure to start away from them and try to meet kind people in the game mode. Kitpvp is unique, and is my favorite game mode on Munchy.

Prison - Underrated, it doesn’t have the best player base but what can you expect. I has a reputation for being toxic but I can guarantee you it really isn’t as toxic as people make it seem. It is a very good game mode with a variety of things you can do and an amazing staff team.

Survival Games - An underrated gamemode. It is amazing, I hope it will gain an active player base soon. Survival games is a fun game mode and it’s amazing. Overall, Survival Games is probably the most underrated game mode a on Munchy.

Purgatory - Yea, no.

I do not remember if i have played all of the gamemodes but im going to write from what i remember.

Survival - I almost only play survival its by far my favorite gamemode on munchy not only becouse i like playing survival itself but all of the things added to it makes it really fun. In the chat people are always nice to eachother and that really adds too it.

Woolwars - I have played woolwars a couple of times and i suck at it but thats almost what makes it fun for me couse when i actually do get a kill it makes me feel like i did something cool.

Kitpvp - I played kitpvp like once and then i stopped becouse i realized how bad i was at pvp compared to other people. But the thing that made it fun playing at the time was almost the same as with woolwars. Getting a kill after just dying for so long was fun.

Anyway -

Survival - Even though I’m more of a pvp person, munchy survival is one of the only minecraft survival gamemodes I’d play. The MCMMO really makes it feel like I’m working towards something other then just getting full diamond or whatever. I’m decent at building (sometimes) and it’s given me a change to play mostly vanilla survival without cheating. (I always die in singleplayer words and just go into creative and mess around instead of actually playing survival.)

Woolwars - Obviously the best gamemode, never played anything better on any other minecraft server.
On a serious note, I like woolwars because it’s a pretty unique idea, and a fun one too! I’ve met many people that I maybe consider friends? You guys know who you are… It all started when I wanted to do an event where 2 teams of 6 fight, and the winner gets a month of legend. I realize now that I shouldn’t have made the prize so high, but it was still a lot of fun. (This is totally an unbiased opinion that has nothing to do with the fact that I’m trying to get staff on it yeah)

Kitpvp - At first, my munchy quest was just to get staff. I didn’t know anyone but I thought I was good enough. On what server was I trying to get staff on? Kitpvp. I tried to make myself known, but It’s pretty difficult to do that when you’ve only been active for like 2 days. It’s a fun gamemode, good for practicing pvp, because many of the players are really good! And of course, the kits are unique, pretty balanced (Except falcon) and fun to play with.

Prison - No. (No offense to any prison players ily guys 2)

Survival games - Classic minecraft SG on munchy? This gamemode is a lot of fun, no idea why it doesn’t have any players. I played my first game of SG on a SkippoAPS stream. It was pretty fun, I didn’t really know him that well then, and I charged at him with just golden leggings and a wooden sword. I got railed.
I would play this a lot more if it had more players!

Purgatory - I go on here to report hackers and answer questions. The banned people always have a LOT of questions about why they were banned, and how to appeal. Some of them aren’t the smartest, but that’s ok.

Hey just want to say good idea for a post many of the servers on Munchy have a lot of variety and it’s interesting to see what aspects of each game mode people like the most. For me I mostly play prison, patiently waiting for the release date of next map; my favorite part about prison was the fishing and farming. I got rich of farming early in the map and never stopped, farming is rlly op with hag boots. And I quite enjoy fishing I just hope that next map they will find a way to make fishing less grindy and not revolve around looting.

I do play the other game modes, Kitpvp has grown on my quite a bit since I came back to minecraft after a long break I had to brush up on my pvp skills. Woolwars is a lot of fun and I enjoy playing it with friends. (Bouncy is op after vast nerfs) #bringbackvast.

Not much of a survival guy but one time I found a full set of netherite armor and an elytra from someone who died in a bastion that was pretty neat lol. The new piglins mangle, they just shred armor.

Survival: never played but people are nice
woolwars: very unique and fun to play
kitpvp: very cool kits and i have lots of friends who play it
prison: i like to gain peoples trust and take all their stuff. But you’re super nice so i doubt you can relate right??
survival games: i dont play

Survival:
I love this community for it’s kindness and welcoming vibes. Mostly everyone there is just so nice and when I am having a hard time IRL I usually just hang out there to get rid of the stress >< Just being there makes me happy and get away from life for a couple of hours. The players and mods are super kind and helpful that I am now aspiring to become a helper cuz why not :upside_down_face: I lub all my friendos there and I am glad I joined this community, I don’t know where I’d be in my life if I hadn’t joined <3

Wool Wars:
A very unique game and it’s fun to play once in a while xD I love the concept of it and it’s enjoyable when you get to crush others- cough cough rarely happens but its cool

Survival Games:
I haven’t played this server before but I would like to try it soon :D

Prison:
I’m scared of this place ngl.

KitPvP:
I have like 10x more deaths then actual kills… I enjoy this server because it’s something new that’s fun even though I REALLY stink at it :sweat_smile:

Overall… I love MunchyMC and I always will. Thank you for changing my life <3
