As long as they apply that over and over again when it runs out and it doesn’t have cooldown that kinda ruins the point of having fly in just your claims and infinitely.

Also this post is for next season, so if it starts with the week it’s enabled then ranked players get AN INCREDIBLE ADVANTAGE. even if doesn’t start with a week with ranked players can fly then next week they’ll be using fly in places like the nether to get netherite or the end for elytra’s and end city loot then next week they’ll have 7 days to get a huge advantage to stock up on items and this ruins the vanilla Minecraft survival experience. (in my opinion.)

you act like having fly every other week in the other world is such a huge advantage that ruins the game mechanics when it’s existed this entire time.

maybe then just the mining world should get permanent fly every other week.

I act like it because in early game it is. Having access to getting multiple elytra’s and netherite early game (things players love to get their hands on) is really insane to start the season off with. Mining too if you go in caverns for gold but I don’t mine enough to form an opinion on it.

I agree!

Ultimately fly is disabled for 2 weeks after a season start if I’m not mistaken.

When I bought ++, I mainly bought it for /fly so I could use it for building. I can understand people wanting a rework with the command. I do think having fly in claims and extra worlds only is a fair compromise if a rework of fly is done.
It would be interesting to maybe see a very very rare crate item (not seasonal crate but regular) that allows temporary fly for x amount of time with a cooldown that can be used in the main world and extra worlds (maybe something you hold in your offhand while using fly).
