Hi GameMaker besties!!

We’re interested in doing some more events/competitions and want to know what YOU want! We’re a little stuck on ideas that you would enjoy right now…

If you have any ideas you want to share feel free to reply to this post, or DM me on discord!

Please also give some feedback on the summer festival event, and what could be improved for future GameMaker events, and what could motivate you to participate more :)

(If you don’t play GameMaker but have some event ideas that could make you want to play I would very much enjoy those ideas too)

  • Game Competitions (Creating a game)
  • Hangout Events (Planning a time for people to join GM and we all play games together)
  • Build Events (Similar to hangout events, except we all plan a time to join GM and build a game together that day and make it public, could do this once a month?)

ok here me out a cool event is where everyone can create there owen lv of the backroom, and at the end of the event we can set up a send player to map on all maps, so 1 bug backrooms

I really liked the summer competition Id like more competitions like that but maybe something like bbh did with red rover - instead of a theme we get a game and we all can build said game as we like.

I also loved the Hang out ideas cause playing games together as a group is very fun and something we used to do a lot more before :D
