Hello Munchies!
We’re thrilled to announce the release of a brand new update for GameMaker, and it’s available to play now! This update brings exciting new features, improvements and bug fixes. Let’s dive into the details and explore what’s included in this release.
Full WorldEdit Functionality
We’re changing the WorldEdit experience by removing the triple slash version and introducing the classic WorldEdit functionality you know and love. You’ll now have access to the familiar commands, making editing easier and more intuitive. Here’s a list of the commands available to you!

New Actions
We’re also introducing several new actions to give you more streamlined and efficient ways to accomplish tasks. Here is a list of the new actions!
- Send Player to Map (Does not have to be the same map!)
- Send Chat Message
- Clear Specific Effect
- Kill Entities in Radius
- (Adjustment) Added a way to retrieve the block a player is standing on to conditionals
- While Loops
Groups
We’re reintroducing groups in a better and more efficient way. You can use these groups to grant specific permissions to players, like:
- Access to all individual Menus
- WorldEdit
- Default Game Mode
- Building
Featured Maps
While this is a feature we plan to expand in the future, we’ve now introduced Featured Maps in the Search Menu. These maps will automatically appear at the top of the list when they match the search criteria, making it easier for players to discover specific content.
Doubled Map Limits
Players at every rank now have the ability to create twice as many maps as they could before.
Local Map Chats
By default, you will have access to type in and view global chat. However, map owners can now enable Local Chat through the Info menu, allowing players to communicate within a specific map. When enabled, players will automatically type in local chat, while still having the option to engage in global chat by prefixing their message with ‘@’ (e.g., @Hello everyone!
). Additionally, players can toggle the visibility of global chat by using the command /globalchat
.
Improvements
- You can now duplicate regions & maps.
- Entities now also drop their inventory if not killed by a player. (Only when drop chance is set to 100%)
- We added a confirmation for every “delete” button, so you can no longer accidentally delete something you’ve spent a lot of time on.
