6. Post Farming

Making many posts, sometimes unnecessary, in order to obtain a high post count. This is not the way to go. If you’re on a hustle to being a staff member or forum moderator, this is not how you obtain it. Typically a post farmer will post on everything possible and it usually only contains a sentence or so and has not too much value. while it may not be in violation of any other rule, it makes you look bad, and it’s clear to see your intention of trying to get a high post count. In conclusion to the point, try to only post if you really have something on your mind to contribute to a topic. The quality of your posts is so much more important than your number of posts.

9. Minimod/Backseat Moderating

Making a post solely to point out a mistake someone has made. This is different from things such as “Please make a support ticket”, etc…as that is just helping out. If a player has mistakenly put a topic in the wrong category, don’t just make a post saying “Please post this in the correct category”. It distracts from the topic and is unnecessary to post. If you must, you can always flag a post to let Staff know someone should be changed, although most of the time Staff will correct such errors like posting in a wrong category (just one of many examples). If you make a post simply to point out a mistake someone has made, your post will likely be deleted.

Regarding the actual post; yes, I agree with AriesGrill. Farming posts for a high post count on your profile is not allowed and either if this was intentional or not it could be mislead as post farming.
