PvP
While having only a diamond sword and iron armor without a special ability like other kits, it is a very well-rounded kit that focuses solely on melee.
Archer
Equipped with a powerful bow, archer is best used far away from opponents. A punch enchantment helps keep players off of you while a Power III enchantment can deal substantial damage if pulled back all the way.
Abomination
When attacking players, they are given a blindness effect, effectively giving them a disadvantage as they cannot sprint while blinded. You have little defense with this kit, so practical soup/pot skills are a necessity if using this kit aggressively.
Crossbow
Works much like archer, but your arrows have an explosion effect upon impact. With Power IV it is definitely dangerous when used excessively.
Bomberman
With TnT as a special weapon, you can create a distraction by sticking it to a player. The stuck player must move the TnT out of their inventory within five seconds or massive damage will occur. You can also throw TnT around to wreck havoc with. While fighting a player it is a good idea to stick a TnT to them so they must stop to take it out their inventory, giving you a huge moment to deal some damage.
Dash
With the Dash kit you receive a short but quick speed boost which can allow you to escape quickly or catch up to someone running from you.
Dragon
Dragon’s fire ability sets enemies ablaze which can panic them, but you’ll also deal half-a-heart more to enemies that are on fire. While fighting it is best to use your ability as much as possible to use your kit to your advantage.
Dwarf
Dwarf is a great escape kit for keeping players away (it’s also very fun just for launching players). While sneaking you will charge up your launch power, and at max power, stop sneaking and any players around you will be launched into the air, giving you a chance to get away.
Echo
Echo’s special ability allows you to teleport backwards to where you were just a couple seconds ago, effectively “reversing time”. This can be useful for if you’re falling off a cliff; just activate the ability and you can save yourself. If a player is giving chase, you could also surprise them by teleporting behind them, giving yourself an easy advantage.
Elementalist
This is a very versatile ranged kit, having many different abilities in one bow. Just punch with your bow to change what kind of element your arrow will have. Bow must be pulled all the way back for the ability to activate when hitting a player.
Fire - When hitting a player, they are on fire temporarily.
Ice - Freezes player, restricting moving for a few seconds.
Wind - Launches them about ten blocks in the air.
Earth - Prevents player from jumping.
Tracking - Non-damaging arrow works as a homing missile.
It’s best to figure out what type of arrow is best for the situation you’re in. For example if you’re on rocky terrain an Earth arrow would be best. If there’s a player on your tail an Ice or Wind arrow is best. If there’s a Falcon use your tracking arrow to effectively hunt them down.
Falcon
This kit basically just lets you fly. When attacking players while in flight you must be stealthy or you risk being knocked out of the sky. It is important to ground yourself every once in a while; if you are hit in the air, you will take as much damage as the top height you reached during that specific flight, so touch the ground every so often.
Fish
This kit is used only for when in water; on land you will have weakness making non-water combat pointless. When in water you have Strength IV and Speed, making water very treacherous for other players.
Fisherman
A very well-rounded kit that utilizes a rod in combat. You can use it for trapping or catching running players. You can hook someone and jump over a lava pool or the edge of a cliff and reel them in as you jump over it. You can take Fish out of the water as well and defeat them easily.
Glider
Equipped with ender pearls, Glider is primarily used to escape fights when needed. When thrown, you “ride” the ender pearls and move as it moves, and can abort mid-flight as well.
Groundhog
Groundhog is mainly used as a means of escape. The burrow ability lets you teleport to any space below you. You only have 3 seconds before you are un-burrowed, so players typically use this time to refill soup and compose themselves before being sent back to the surface.
Hornet
Hornet is a versatile kit which comes with a few different abilities for different situations.
Stinger - Has a chance to inflict poison for a few seconds
Wings - One-time jump boost
Antenna - Can view a player’s current health and number of soup/pots
Jester
Jester provides many different kinds of benefits to disadvantage your opponent.
Right Click - All players in range will face a random direction.
Left Click - All players in range open inventory.
Shift + Left Click - Can fire snowballs indefinitely.
Drop - Randomizes hotbar of all players in range.
Using these abilities in the midst of combat will help you defeat your opponent best.
Ninja
Utilizing the power of speed, Ninja wields a powerful sword and is deadly when unseen. Ninja can temporarily become invisible and receive a dangerous strength effect, useful for making a sneak attack or getting away. Ninja has little armor, so it’s best to not get snuck up on yourself while using this kit.
Portal
The Portal kit can create a gateway between two portals. When both are placed, walking through one will lead you to the other. You can use the portals to create a trap above a lava pool or high ledge or use it to create an escape.
Rider
You get a horse, enough said!
Screecher
A wither effect you can give to players in range makes for a great debuff. Using the ability in combat typically panics players and they can over-soup as well.
Shrek
Shrek has the ability to pick up players and throw them far away. Another special ability is that Shrek is immune to all projectiles. With the slime block in hand players get a jump boost effect as well, which can help you get away.
Slingshot
Slingshot’s ability allows you to grapple a player, slinging you in their direction. It’s equipment is well-rounded and makes for a great kit to melee and chase people down with.
Snail
Your attacks with Snail have a 20% to give your opponent Slowness. It will be harder for them to fight you as they can’t get away and they have a harder time hitting you.
SnowGolem
The Rooter ability effectively freezes players in place, making it impossible for them to move briefly. This will allow you to either escape or fight them. You can also throw a freezing snowball to give them a slowness effect as well.
Summoner
Summoner can spawn a creeper which will chase a target around and explode unless killed. Works best in a group of people.
Switcher
With the Switcher’s snowballs when you hit a player you will switch places with them. If you’re being attacked you can escape by throwing a snowball at another player. You can stand next to a high ledge and make someone fall by switching places then.
Tank
Tank is a more heavy-based kit. With diamond armor you have a lot of defense but a slowness effect in return. When you kill a player you create an explosion to damage other nearby players, and you’re immune to all explosives as well.
Thor
Thor’s axe ability has two uses: it can be thrown to damage a player hit and it can call down a bolt of lightning to damage nearby players. It is a versatile melee kit and is utilized best while using your sword and Thor abilities together.
Titan
Titan is a killstreak-rewarding kit. Every time you get a kill you receive a strength buff, however your maximum health is decreased. This will make you really deadly but you will have little health as well. Your leap ability can launch you high into the air to get a surprise attack on unsuspecting opponents.
Vacuum
Vacuum is a great escape kit. When used, it can either create a suction to pull players in or repel players away. Works great in groups as you can get them all stuck in one place.
Vampire
Each kill you earn while using Vampire will add an extra heart to your total health, to a total of 5 extra hearts. The Bat Signal ability will spawn a bat for you to ride on, generally best used for getting out of combat situations.
Viper
Viper’s ability gives each hit a 20% to give a player poison for 5 seconds. This is an aggressive melee kit which can panic players when poisoned.
Zeus
With Zeus you can spawn a storm of lightning which can deal some damage players in the radius, perfect for groups. You can also cast a bolt which will leave a quick lightning bolt in its path.
