How do I buy kits?
You can either buy kits with tokens and on our online store. A kit costs 3,500 tokens. You can access the token shop in the Wool Wars lobby, or the hub. You can also visit our store here to buy a kit.
Below is a list of kits Wool Wars offers with Descriptions of how the kit works and strategies that work best with the kit.
Anvil
Description:
Grants the ability to take no knockback while shifting.
Strategy:
While playing Anvil, you can act very aggressively when towering as you don’t have to worry about falling off.
Archer
Description:
Start the game with a bow and three arrows. Revives an arrow each time the user lands a shot on another player.
Strategy:
Tower up enough to not get hit by the sandstone and knock the players who are still building off.
Bouncy
Description:
Start the game with Jump Boost 2 infinitely.
Strategy:
Tower up as fast as you can (near the wall) to get the higher chests. This kit allows you to jump up two blocks at once.
Camel
Description:
Instead of instantly dying to the sandstone, lose 2 hearts from your max health every second you’re on the sandstone
Strategy:
Play close to the sandstone while pvping, if you get hit into it, it won’t matter as much, but if you hit the opponent in, they will die instantly.
Engineer
Description:
Start the game with some Redstone utilities, and gain 1 throwable TNT every time you kill someone.
Strategy:
Wait till you see a player on a bigger platform, then throw your TNT at them, this will allow you to land near them and have a chance to knock them off.
Feather
Description:
Grants the ability to take a maximum of 3 hearts of fall damage.
Strategy:
This is a very good kit for block clutching after being hit off a platform/tower, just before you hit the sandstone, place a block under you to survive the fall.
Glider
Description:
While falling and holding the glide item, you will glide down at a slow rate as well as take half the fall damage (Unless it would kill you instantly). Beware, if you take any damage, your glider ability will be disabled for 7 seconds
Strategy:
Use your glide ability to rush towards unsuspecting players, or use it to escape enemies! Use with cobwebs or water to negate the fall damage.
Grandpa
Description:
Start the game with a knockback 1 stick. If you hit a player with that stick, they’ll get slowness 1 for 2 seconds
Strategy:
When using this kit make sure the player is near an edge then switch to your knockback stick for an easy kill. It’s also very easy to combo with it as the enemy has slowness
Greedy
Description:
Grants the ability to left-click a chest to automatically give you all contents, auto equips amour if you don’t already have any (Does not swap better amour)
Strategy:
While playing Greedy, when the game first starts hit as many chests near you as possible to start out with more stuff than other players. The auto equipping armor also helps you get that early advantage in combat.
Healer
Description:
Start the game with regeneration 1, gain an instant health 2 potion every time you kill someone.
Strategy:
After each fight make sure to heal if you are below half, if you’re not then save them to use in a later fight.
Knitter
Description:
Grants the ability to break wool in 1 hit, and get it in your inventory immediately.
Strategy:
SPLEEF!
Ninja
Description:
You will get a Redstone dust which when pressed will create a platform below you (Works in mid-air!) 15s cooldown.
Strategy:
After you get hit off a platform, use your ability as soon as possible, it might surprise your enemy when you jump right back at them!
Paladin
Description:
Starts the game with full leather armor, and a stone sword
Strategy:
Begin the game using your early armor and weapon advantage to pick off the people who have not organized their loot yet.
Pufferfish
Description:
Start the game with a sharpness 1 pufferfish called “baboo”. You can only attack with the pufferfish
Strategy:
Blub blub blub.
Pyro
Description:
Start the game with a Flint and Steel. Grants the ability to avoid all types of fire damage.
Strategy:
While fighting someone make sure to use the fire tick damage to get the upper hand.
Salvager
Description:
You can place and pick up your anvil by right-clicking to place, shift right-clicking to pick up. Right-clicking on the anvil while holding something will turn items in hand to their component parts. Left-clicking will bring up a crafting table GUI
Strategy:
When playing salvager, make sure to salvage and save any scraps from kills that you get to build new gear
Speedster
Description:
Gives you speed 3 during the invincibility period then speed 2 for the rest of the game
Strategy:
Look up at the start of the game and run to a wall with lots of chests, then use your speed later on in the game to combo people in pvp.
Spiderman
Description:
Start the game with 5 snowballs, grants the ability to turn all snowball projectiles into web traps
Strategy:
If you notice a player building a bridge, hit them with the web trap then they will slowly fall to their doom. Keep in mind its a 2x2 so you can miss by a block if needed.
Teleporter
Description:
Start the game with 2 ender pearls, get 1 ender pearl every 2 minutes
Strategy:
At the start of the game, pearl to the highest platform you can and swipe some uncontested chests, use the late game pearls to reach hard to get to targets.
Tinker
Description:
Grants the ability to shoot a laser once every 30 seconds. The laser has a radius of 20 blocks but deals massive damage
Strategy:
When someone is building up, shoot the laser at them because it deals knockback.
Vanish
Description:
Start the game with a vanish cloak. Right-clicking the cloak will make the user disappear and appear on a random point on the map and gives you speed 1 for 10 seconds the cloak has a 1-time use
Strategy:
You don’t always have to use this at the start of a game, this is a good thing to use when you get into a fight where the odds are against you.
Vast
Description:
Grants the ability to quickly place blocks horizontally. Left click while looking forwards to place.
Strategy:
Bridge horizontally to reach chests, get to safety, or rush other players!
Vision
Description:
Grants the ability to show player health while attacking, you also gain a compass that shows you multiple things about the nearest player when clicked: Location, best sword, kit, gapples and potions
Strategy:
While playing Vision, make sure to scout out your enemy’s information before you fight them to see what kit they are using and see if they have more healing too.
