Three years and two days ago, I logged on to Munchymc. Throughout my time on this server I’ve met lots of people, made lots of friends, and had lots of unforgettable experiences. I’ve decided to make this post a ‘review’ of sorts, where I answer a few questions about me and name a few of the best times I’ve had on this server.
Why is your name ZombieBot1? Isn’t that kindof weird?
Christmas Eve, 2012. My Dad randomly walks up to me.
“If you had a minecraft account, what would you name it?”
“ZombieBot1”
slight pause as he types something on his phone
“What would you want the password to be?”
says password, another slight pause
On Christmas morning, I was wonderfully surprised. My dad had bought me a new minecraft account! I don’t even know where I got the idea from. I vaguely remember having thought about it a few times before, but I still have no clue why I chose that name. It’s not a reference to my real name(Which starts with R). It’s not a reference to my skin (White haired man in a suit???). I don’t even like zombies any more than normal. I guess we’ll never really know.
Why do you always use such weird emojis?
Honestly, I’m not exactly sure. I know it started somewhere around March of last year, and ever since it’s just been a part of my personality to use them. Why exactly do I choose to use questionable emojis like

, and 
? Again, I don’t really know. I promise I’m not like this in real life; I’m a respectful young man, as hard as it may be to believe. That being said, will I ever stop using these faces? No

Here are a few of the pivotal experiences that have shaped my time on this server:
Cha Cha Slide, 2020
I had been actively playing woolwars for a good few months before this event, but I had never really talked to anyone until that point. I found the announcement on forums, joined the discord with my default profile picture discord account, and participated in the event as a complete random. I remember seeing all the other participants, and having the urge to get to know them. Sitting in that vc, I had no idea that the people around me would grow to be some of my closest friends.
Summer
I really loved the summer of 2021 for a lot of reasons. I truly began to take off as a helper and bit member, and it was amazing to see all of my ideas and suggestions being implemented. One of the things I love about munchy is the closeness of the community. Woolwars is so tight-knit that every player can have their ideas taken seriously, and I really enjoy that aspect of the gamemode.
Clan Tournament
There’s no big lesson or takeaway here. I really enjoyed the camaraderie and cooperation that the clan war provided. There’s something about working with a team to pull off an amazing play that is so satisfying, and the clan tournament was packed with those moments
As a final section, I’m going to list five amazing people that I’ve met on munchy. These aren’t my ‘top six friends’ or ‘exclusive bffs’, they’re just a few people I love and appreciate :)

You were probably the first person I ever ‘met’ on munchy. Throughout much of November and December 2020, you were always there being your quiet, enjoyable self. Your simple kindness and conversation was a highlight of my early experience. I’m so glad that our friendship has grown stronger the longer we’ve known each other. You’re open. You’re understanding. You’re not afraid to disagree with me. I admire how you go about your life quietly doing good without trying to be noticed or drawing attention to yourself. Thanks for being in my life.

As I sit here at my desk contemplating my time here on munchy, one question continues to surface in my mind: “How have I not been demoted yet?”. Throughout my time as a staff member, I’ve made countless mistakes. Without you and the rest of the staff team, the woolwars lobby would probably be a giant crater right now. You allow me more patience than I deserve, and I’m grateful for all the opportunities you’ve given me to serve on the staff team.

I really enjoy our friendship. You always make decisions without bias or drama, and I love that aspect of your personality. Your ideas and input are always so creative and well thought out. I’ve cherished the process of building encryption with you, and shaping it into a clan that we can both be proud of.

I don’t even know where to start with this. You’re one of the few people in my life that I can talk to about anything. From making art, to swapping seducing tips, to staying up all night talking about life, I am comforted in knowing that we will always be there for each other. I treasure our friendship more than you could ever know.

I love the mood you bring with you wherever you go. Any time you’re around, everything gets noticeably brighter and more cheerful. You’re funny, kind, and never put others down. I’ve been learning Portuguese for ten months now, and it all started because of one text you sent me. Thanks for making the world a better place.
