I saved 20 cosmicoins for this item

I wanted to get the satchel because it fits my archeologist build, I’m working towards. Although, I can still see it in first person view…

I don’t think this was tested; is there a fix I don’t know about?

I think these items need a little of a revamp. Another example is the halo, which you can’t see when wearing armor.

What are your thoughts on the special cosmetic items?

A lot of cosmetics you can see in first person view, some haven’t even been tested with the left hand such as the cyber bow skin where they look weird. You’ll get used to it trust

Sorry about your cosmicoins if you do feel ripped off but I assure you this is normal

It’s normal to feel ripped off?

Literally what did you exactly expect? Like go on detail, I’m picking up that all you expected was it to look like this but you don’t see it in first person. I don’t know what to tell you, I’m not the 3D expert but I would assume if it was possible to make them non viewable in first person people would’ve done that.

You didn’t get ripped off, I think you’re just unsatisfied with your product. Sorry I can’t do more :(

Follow up post.

You do get used to it after a while, but I don’t recommend it if you’re doing something serious (like exploring caves, nether, end world, etc.). With that being said, I can see the satchel working as purse cosmetic. The pink strap looks good, and I can see people wanting this.

My last criticism is that I would like to see cosmetics in the inventory.

Overall, 3/5 stars. I do hope they make some changes and check all the cosmicoin items (especially since cismicoins can be real money).

Minecraft’s a doo doo coding platform I doubt that’s possible sadly sir ;(

The accessories are items/models that are physically attached to your player model. It is not possible to hide them in first-person view or to display them in the inventory.
I’m sorry that you don’t like it, but this is all we can do with the restrictions imposed by Mojang. The good news is that Mojang will finally enable custom armor skins in one of the next updates, which will allow us to address these issues. Whether we will change all of the existing accessories or completely revamp the system is not yet clear, though.
