Bannable Offenses

1. Cheating

You are prohibited from cheating, hacking, abusing glitches, or engaging in any activity that gives you an unfair advantage over other players. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Using unauthorized mods or hacks.
• Exploiting in-game bugs or glitches.

2. Spam-Botting

Flooding the chat with spam using multiple accounts is not allowed. This behavior disrupts the gaming experience for others and includes:

• Creating or using bots to send repetitive messages.
• Using multiple accounts to send repetitive messages.

3. Faking Reports

Do not use software or modifications to fabricate evidence against other players. This undermines the integrity of the community. Note:

• False Reports: Reporting someone without fabricated evidence is not included in this offense.
• Faked Evidence: Intentionally creating false proof is a serious violation.

4. Attacks

Any form of attack or threat against the MunchyMC Network or its staff is strictly prohibited. This includes:

• DDoS Attacks: Overloading the network to disrupt services.
• Doxxing: Sharing personal information about staff or players without consent.
• Swatting: Making false emergency calls to harass or harm individuals.

5. Scamming

You may not use MunchyMC’s chat, Discord server, TeamSpeak, or forums to scam players, compromise their accounts, or steal personal information. Prohibited actions include:

• Phishing attempts to obtain login credentials.
• Impersonating staff to gain trust.
• Sharing malicious links.

NOTE: This does not include scamming items on Prison.

6. Offensive Skins or Usernames

Players with inappropriate names or skins will be temporarily banned until changes are made. Inappropriate content includes:

• Hate speech or discriminatory imagery.
• Sexual or explicit content.
• Offensive language.

7. Staff Impersonation

Impersonating any member or group of our staff team, or representing yourself as part of MunchyMC when you are not, is forbidden. This includes:

• Using similar usernames or nicknames.
• Claiming to have staff privileges.
• Misleading others about your role.

Mutable Offenses

1. Advertising Servers or Competing Services

Promoting other Minecraft servers or competing services is not allowed. This includes:

• Sharing IP addresses or website links.
• Inviting players to other servers.
• Discussing competing services in a promotional manner.

2. Spamming and/or Flooding the Chat

Disrupting the chat by sending repetitive or irrelevant messages is prohibited. Examples include:

• Sending the same message multiple times.
• Using excessive capitalization or special characters.
• Posting nonsensical or random content.
• Encouraging others to create spam.

3. Excessive Swearing or Overly Offensive Language

Using excessive profanity or language that is overly offensive is not permitted. This covers:

• Repeatedly using vulgar or obscene language.
• Making derogatory remarks toward others.
• Engaging in hate speech.

4. Sharing Personal Information of Other Players

Do not share personal information of other players in the chat, whether the information is real or fake. Protect others’ privacy by avoiding:

• Posting real names, addresses, or phone numbers.
• Sharing personal photos without consent.
• Revealing any other sensitive information.

5. Politics

While we allow players to express their opinions in chat, please keep discussions friendly and respectful. If a conversation becomes confrontational or divisive, it may result in disciplinary action. This includes:

• Debating divisive or controversial policies.
• Discussing polarizing political events or figures.
• Making statements intended to provoke strong reactions or arguments.

6. Mute Evasion

Although we typically do not take action if you join on an alternate account to evade a mute, please be aware that any violations of chat rules on the alternate account may result in an extension of your mute.
