Prerequisite checklist:
- Have you been a regular player on MunchyMC for at least one month?:
Yes, I have played on munchy for almost a year and a half in total, around a year on my Joeified account, and around 2019 I was also active with an older account for about 6 months before losing my account.
- Are you able to record and upload good quality videos of hackers?:
I am quite familiar with Open Broadcast System or Stream Labs to record good or decent quality videos.
- Do you have TeamSpeak3 and Discord downloaded and are competent with them?:
I am familiar with Teamspeak, and use it quite a bit, but I have been using discord a lot longer and use it almost as much as M inecraft.
Application
IGN:
Joeified
Age:
16
Timezone:
EST
Can you use a microphone for an interview?:
Yes, I have a decent mic.
Role you are interested in (Helper or JMod):
Helper
Server you are interested in moderating (pick ONE):
Survival
How active can you be per week?
I can guarantee at least 24 hours a week accounting for school, but I could probably manage more.
Do you have any punishments on our network? If so, please describe your side of story:
I have never received any punishments on Munchy.
Have you applied for this role before? If so, please explain the steps you have taken to improve as an applicant since your last application:
I have never applied before.
What do you think your reputation is like within the community?
To be honest, I might be invisible to most. I always try to be active on Survival, and have join ed various Guilds but could never find a good fit, even resulting to creating my own Guild, the J-team. I want to
be a helper to try and become a positive influence in the Munchy Community.
Why are you interested in the role and what motivated you to apply?
Honestly, I could go on forever about how much I wanted to join the Munchy Staff Team ever since around 2019 when I first started playing. I could list off various Staff members through the years-Clockyy, Liam, FunnyJustCause, Kinda Skeppy, Ommamu, Callahan and so much more who i look up to. Munchy is a great community filled with so many wonderful people, and I love being a part of the community. However, with this being said, there will always be bad eggs in the carton, whether it be toxic players, or hackers who attempt to ruin our wonderful community. Survival has been known to have these characters from time to time, and as a member of that community, I want to help to crack those eggs before the entire carton is considered rotten. I want to become known in the community as someone who stands by the beliefs in the kind community that Munchy is, and who does everything in their power to help make Survival a better place.
Out of 10 (with 10 being very knowledgeable), how would you rate your knowledge on moderating a community?*
I would say about a 6 or 7. I have experience being a discord moderatr and server moderator for 5 bedrock edition realms/servers, having around 100 members, with an average of 20 active members.
Even so, I have much to learn, as those servers never really took off, and I did not get a fair amount of experience in my own opinion.
Out of 10 (with 10 being very knowledgeable), what would you rate your knowledge on Minecraft hacks and cheats, including finding and identifying cheaters?
I would rate myself a 7, I have studied dozens of Hypixel clips and videos from Staff on various servers, and have in result, created a good idea of Survival related Hacks. That as well as my own experience as a Server Moderator on Bedrock edition, however a little different to Java.
Please link us to any hacker reports you have made (recorded and/or reported) on MunchyMC:
Edit- I removed the weird text on the top of the application, as well as clarifying the amount of time I played on Munchy for. The way I wrote it, it read as though the year and a half I’ve been on Munchy was just on my Joeified account while also playing a lot on my old account Skeleton in 2019 for about 6 months, when in actuality the time was split between the two accounts, with me Using Joeifed for a year after I lost my old account back in early 2020. I also explained why I rated myself a 6-7 on my experience moderating a community, even though I claimed to have helped to moderate 5 small communities on discord.
edit 2- Adding important information to clarify the edit.
