As updates slow down for Map 7, development and building progress speeds up for Map 8! Map 7 saw the additions of a new revamped farming system, a new fishing system, new events like “Casino Royale”, “Farmer’s Dream”, and “Stormy Night”, a new revamped Prisonbreak, a new prestige world, and more! At the start of Map 7 there were relatively few new features; most significant new systems such as Fishing and Prisonbreak were added as mid-map updates.
Varmetek has been hard at work adding a number of new features that will exist at the start of Map 8, and since we want these features to be ready for release we are still not certain of a release date. Rest assured, we are certain it will come before the year is out, and as soon as we are able to lock in a release date, it will be announced publicly.
As for Map 7, Leaderboards will be set in stone on September 30th and we will announce who won the prizes for Map 7 Prison - Map 7 Season REWARDS (300$ in prizes) . Similar prizes will be announced for Map 8 at a later date.
So… what are new features are coming in Map 8? What’s the theme?
Most new features, rares, etc. will NOT be announced or described before release, but a small amount of new features/changes will be announced in upcoming posts!

As for what I’ll confirm immediately:
- Farming and fishing will exist upon release (drug/fish prices much lower for release)
- Mafia will have AT LEAST 30 mins BETA-test access before server release. This helps us to see and solve potentially damaging issues/bugs.
- Prisonbreak will be added as an update at least 1+ months into the map. Players need to learn what the new rares do first!
