The Pride Tags Are Returning

As we’re celebrating the end of May, it appears the month of June has already begun! With summer starting soon, the free obtainable pride tag has made its return and can be claimed right here in the MunchyMC store. If you want to take a look at it or find more information about said tag, you can check this post out. After earning the tag, all you need to do is type /tag pride2024 in-game to try it out!

Be careful though: You only have until the end of the month to claim it!

New ULs and Fableds
This month, a new Fabled and four new Ultra-Legendaries were added! The upgraded version of the entire Ice King set has now been released: the Ultra-Legendary Ice King Crown, the Ultra-Legendary Ice King Shirt, the Ultra-Legendary Ice King Feet and the Fabled Ice King Legs. The Ultra-Legendary Voldemort Feet have also made their appearance!

Buffs
Not only were the chances of finding Ultra and Fabled Shards buffed, but so were two items: the Tom Riddle Pickaxe and the Ice Fishing Pickaxe! The wood prices for certain types of logs (mangrove, cherry, crimson and hyphae) were also increased!

Lockdown
The bug regarding the Lockdown event not working inside the Prison has been fixed! PVP will now be enabled everywhere when the event starts, except at spawn and in cells.

Hello! Welcome or welcome back, it’s nice to have you here. This month we as usual have a wonderful art gallery, but we also have an artist interview with who some people would call a munchy legend (not the rank).

Artist Interview with NeOnIsBad

It’s the one and only NeOnIsBad, known on Munchy for his masterpiece parodies and his incredible skill with winning survival events in season 2. Other than that NeOn has had a great impact on the server with his awesome youtube videos and streams. (Thanks to EvillRat for suggesting I interview NeOn)

• How long have you been practicing art for, and what started it?
  I’ve been practicing art for basically my whole life, but I really started focusing a lot on it by the time I had a YouTube channel, which is probably around 2021. The main thing that grind the gears is how inspired I was by seeing a lot of parodies out in YouTube and how much I wanted to make one myself.

• What is your favorite part of the process behind making a new artwork, and which part do you think is the hardest?
  I have two favorite parts in making music: writing lyrics, and singing the lyrics along with the instrumental. However, although making lyrics one of my favorite parts, I find it quite difficult to make them, since there has to be a certain flow to every song.

• Do you think your art style has developed, and if so how do you think it has developed?
  I think it’s still developing but it’s way better than it first started. I started becoming more consistent and efficient with lyrics, I started to try to make real music, and tried to practice better flows.

• What is your favorite work of art that you’ve created?
  My favorite work has to be Awful at Survival (MunchyMC Parody) since it’s such a jam, and that was the most fun one to make. I also really love “love for u” which is an original song made by me.

• What is your favorite work of art that someone else created?
  My favorite work that someone else created is another September Minecraft parody that was made by my friend Charcolee. I was very inspired by his parodies since they were hella funny and good, so his works is also what made me start to make my own works as well.
