Saladbutter's Event Team Application

IGN and past IGN’s:
Current IGN is saladbutter, I really have too many names to list and it would be an inconvenience, so I’ll save everyone’s time and link the NameMC page below.
https://namemc.com/profile/saladbutter.1

Timezone:
Mountain Timezone (Arizona)

How often can you host events:
I can host events whenever I’m on really. In between events I’d probably take five minute intervals, and then listen to what the community wants. But other than this, I would host events frequently often. There would be some times where I just would want to chill and not host events, but if the community wants it, I’d have to fulfill my role.

What sets you apart from other applicants:
There are other applicants who have accumulated certain assets required to be an event team member, whether it be the plain knowledge or great organization skills, but I believe I have one of the major keys to being an event team member. As I have grown about my 14 years of living, Many people I am close to have recognized my patience. It may not seem like it in-game, which I should start portraying more, but I really never thought of applying until I started playing MC pretty frequently. Times have changed.

What can you bring to MunchyMC as an Event Member:
I feel like this question is a very diverse question with a lot of answers, so, get ready for the ramble. I can bring lots of good laughs, I can host events with weird twists on them, like turning on PvP during events and throwing in different items just like 2086 does in his hosted events. I can host just casual events, manual events, I can build new events and test them out with the community, and I can even be as interactive with the community just as much as they want to be with me, and more than likely a little more.

Give us one or more examples of an Event Member(s) doing something positive (I.E. Hosting an event when you asked, allowing you to become the slayer in RR, etc.):
There are so many times where event members have been polite to me and the community. I really like 2086’s event twists, even though they make me a little toxic (trying to work on), but I really like his twists. NoEffortName, recently accepted, has already made an impact on the ‘event world’ i guess you could say. I wouldn’t say I’m going to copy what he does, but I like how he hosts events that include someone who isn’t playing with everyone else. If you aren’t picking up what I’m putting down, I’m talking about events like Color Run or RR, where there is a slayer who is trying to kill the other players running back and forth. He types some random sentence in chat, like “1 l1k3 t0 34t chik3n5,” and then the first player to respond gets to be the slayer. I really like this style of hosting events. 20 has let me be slayer several times as well, along with Mboscolo when he was an event member. Brush also hosts events quite frequently, and listens to what the community, which is basically all sumo (sorry for being rude brush :stuck_out_tongue:). I haven’t really seen CatTech, Treyy, or Baqel host events recently, but I have talked to them in either TS or chat, and that makes them seem like good event members doing something positive already, which is talking to the community.

Anything else you would like to add:
I would just like to say that I know I have been acting immature and toxic on prison and kitpvp, but I’m trying to change. The thing is, I can be very mature if I’m required to be, and its just fun to be toxic, but I’m realizing it ruins your reputation and isn’t a good thing to let people get to know you as a toxic person.

Welp, this is it. Good luck to other applicants.

Hey there @saladbutter!

Frequently and often (sorry that was bothering me)

Hey brush, it’s Beef from an edit, just here to say that it would be better to just have “frequently” on its own in this example. That is all

Ok now to the real part.

I agree. It takes a lot to own up to your mistakes. I would advise for you to be less toxic as well, as I will get to later in my rating. (Fancy way of saying scroll down)

What do you mean by this? What events will you turn PvP on for? I’m curious!

That is Miss Brush_Your_Teeth to you
Why do people ask for sumo so much?

Maybe try to work on this a little before you apply for event. It takes a lot of maturity to take this role!

Since ratings don’t go towards the final decision, I am going to give you some tips for your application and you in-game.

  • here is where you can learn all about the events.
  • keep looking at accepted and denied applications to learn more!

Thank you! I was waiting for this response as you always reply to everyone’s application with information on how to improve their app. :stuck_out_tongue:. As for the PvP events I was talking about, I mean like turning on pvp for parkour race, KoTH, and any other events that seem weird with a PvP twist. As for asking for sumo, I really don’t know, its just like fidget spinners I guess. I know that I do need to work on my maturity, and I am definitely seeing progress on improving that constantly. It can only get better from here. I am always constantly looking and reading over applications, even though I don’t always respond. That is also something that I am working on. Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it! I’ll edit my application with the errors you pointed out.

I’ve personally seen you trying to improve your maturity lately, you’re active and very comfortable to be around.

Good luck!

Hey salad! I remember we have been playing on a server and you were immature. I saw you working on it, but you should keep working on your maturity xD.
You have a good application though.
No rating because it won’t affect the final decision.

@2086 Thank you! Same with you.

@MadInToilet I dont really know what incident that was but I have a pretty good idea of when it was with 20, you, and I, but yeah I was just messing around, still not a good thing to be doing, and thats what I’m really trying to work on. Thanks for the feedback

But on a serious note you are really nice and mature @saladbutter and you deserve to get event. I have not seen you be salty/toxic so I look forward to seeing a mod respond to this application!

Honestly, a little bit of immaturity would be helpful with this (job?). Just don’t over do it to the point of toxicity. Being mature is a good thing, however it can make a person a bit too serious sometimes. I think I suffer from this a lot, which is why I am probably not fit for this kind of job on Munchy. However, you sound like a light hearted person, so if you can deliver some humor into this world of contention we live in, then by all means you have my +1. If you get accepted, just make sure to stay active, and do what the community wants. Good luck!

If you ever stop by on ts and come in a channel with me, you’ll see that I’m only mature to a point, but if you ask Liam, I guess I’m that type of guy that you’re talking about. Thanks for the tips

This is kind of bias to me only, but if you’re gonna say what I wrote lacks detail and you’re writing that, I really think those words to me don’t hold any meaning anymore. But you’re fine, and good luck! <3

Woops! Disregard what I said. I had mistaken you for someone else. I am very sorry. Ratings don’t matter, but good luck!

Okay? Thanks anyways

For anyone who already read this, never mind, I’ll most likely be on tomorrow!

Hey saladbutter, as of now, we feel you are not ready to be an Event Team member. Please work on your maturity. You have been improving, but I’d like you to take as much time as you need to further prove to me you have what it takes to be on this team.
