Is there an exact/estimated percentage for how much spawn rates are reduced? I have a farm that involves natural spawning and would be interested in knowing how often I can expect a mob to spawn so I can calculate correctly
I don’t know the exact spawn rates on munchy, but I know it’s low enough that’s it’s basically useless making any mob based farms xd
I’m pretty sure it fluctuates, because all the tamed mobs in the world add to making it lower… including villagers.
Not sure if this is 100% right but this is what I’ve been told
With 1.16, your information is no longer valid.
In an ilmango video about a mob switch, the mob cap changes depending on how man players are on and other factors I couldn’t see in the video.
The mob cap doesn’t count renamed and tamed mobs, villagers don’t count to it anymore, but zombie villagers that was even traded with count to the mob cap.
Recently most people in the server said that all mobs count to the mob cap. Didn’t know that changed. The wiki also doesn’t say anything about tamed mobs, villagers, or renamed mobs. Shrug
EDIT: 1/hour also seems quite insane and definitely should be changed if that’s the case. That makes the cap lowered to about 1%.
Yeah but this farm should give some nice results no matter the spawn rate, unless it’s basically non-existent.
If so, i would ask an admin about it on discord. They’re probably the only ones who could find out .o.
Thank you! This should help with some nice calculations.
The difference of the default for monsters being 70 and now being 3 will be quite the difference haha.
Oh I see, my bad then!
But in the video, the cap rose from 70 to 140 the nearer ilmango came to jeb_. (which still doesn’t make much sense to me)
