Meow!
Hai, Stella’s back to gather feedbacks! First of all, I hope that you guys are having an amazing time playing survival, because I ain’t (people are bullying me) but anyways…
Today I’d love to know to have specific feedbacks regarding ALL basic & advanced classes as for the amount of exp they require to level up. We all have some classes we love to level up within 10 minutes, we also despise some classes that would take 10+ hours to fully max… today’s topic is to find a balance and make skills more appealing to people!
To keep things organized…
I would love to invite everyone to follow this format while replying so that it’s as easy to read and organized as possible. You can comment on multiple classes at once:

Basic Class
Tools Expert:
-
Overall: The skill is pretty okay to me. Though I’d love to see it reach woodcutting so that using axes would give exp, I still enjoy grinding it.
-
Perks: I like the perks, though I wish super breaker (thanks @pesusalla)lasted for 20 seconds instead of 10 so that forge master super break definition will actually be accurate (doubles the duration of tools expert super breaker)
-
Exp Gain: I do not use afk fishing farms but I might not be alone saying that the exp gain is really low. It is the hardest basic class to level up and so if I could suggest something, I’d wanna see the basic exp values be equal to the ones when a x2 skill booster happens.
Advanced Classes
Builder:
-
Overall: Builder is meh.
-
Perks: I like the perks. Insta breaking glass and being able to craft lights is pretty cool. I’d love to see some more perks though but the current ones don’t hurt. Never really used the claiming discount…
-
Exp Gain: It’s hard, like REALLY hard. Dyeing (thanks @amy2017) stuff is tedious considering you have to hold Q/A to drop them one by one since shift clicking will only count for 1. Never used looms but same applies for stone cutter, the progression is just impossible unless you’re willing to dye stuff for a few hours without any boost. Rising the values to x2 wouldn’t be enough imo… just make it viable or add other sources of exp…
Spell weaver:
-
Overall: The concept is great, I like it!
-
Perks: Well, there’s a lot to say. Some books aren’t worth getting them. It costs 150 gold but if it’s not Fortune IV, Sharpness VI or Unbreaking IV, the rest is close to being unsellable. Using them is pretty fun but realistically, no one really likes to use bane of arthropods, smite etc. I’m thankful for the buff odds but there’s room for improvement. Maybe adding a few custom enchants, have it so you can’t get the same enchantment twice in 1 use, a system where you can re roll a few times between restarts, having the cost of enchanting decreased, those would make it better!
-
Exp Gain: Well… there’s isn’t many ways. In fact, there seems to be just enchanting and disenchanting. Please buff the exp gain, it’s just sad…
Explorer:
-
Overall: Fun class! Never tested it…
-
Perks: The perks are okayyyyyyyy… but like, sherds are kind of rare and even rarer because of Terralith. Also heard that the compasses have durability, like 1 or 2 uses though I can be wrong, I hope that I am. I appreciate the 56% more area to explore and I hope it does have an impact on all extra worlds. There’s been suggestion of having crafting recipes for sherds so that it’s easier to craft those compasses and I think having it for builder/craftsman would be wonderful!
-
Exp Gain: Looting… takes time and isn’t that obvious without compasses that are hard to make. Never tested the skill, once again but it needs some love according to people who tried it.
I was close to speak about shepherd but I’m fairly sure I’m doing things wrong to level it up efficiently so yeah, won’t include it.
