How active can you be per week? My current schedule allows me to be on everyday for 1-3 hours in either the afternoon or evening.

Do you have any punishments on our network? If so, please describe your side of story: No I do not have any punishments on Munchy.

Have you applied for this role before? If so, please explain the steps you have taken to improve as an applicant since your last application: Yes, I applied back in September 20th, 2020. They thought that JMod was not quite fit for me at that time so they offered me helper rank. I feel like I have improved myself since then. I have learned how to better manage different situations such as dealing with toxicity in chat and dms, as well as helping people.

What do you think your reputation is like within the community? I feel like I have a positive reputation in the community. I am currently a helper so I try my best to keep a positive and friendly attitude when it comes to interacting with people in the community.

Why are you interested in the role and what motivated you to apply? I am interested in applying for this role because I’ve always wanted to do more to help the server and community. Being a helper has only motivated me more and more to apply for JMod.

Out of 10 (with 10 being very knowledgeable), how would you rate your knowledge on moderating a community? 8/10

Out of 10 (with 10 being very knowledgeable), what would you rate your knowledge on Minecraft hacks and cheats, including finding and identifying cheaters? I would say 8/10 I feel like I have learned more on how to identify cheaters since the last time I applied.

I rarely saw you online in 2021, both on kit and on woolwars. I’m glad that you’ve become more active in the past three weeks, but it still seems very impudent to barely log on for an entire year and then apply for Jmod right after.

From the other comments I can tell that you’re a good helper when you are online, and I’d love to see you increase your activity to prove that you can be a good Jmod too.

Going to be a -1 from me.

I’ve been a mod at the time you were accepted and it has been a few months after your promotion that I had resigned from my position. During said time period, I very rarely witnessed an increment of activity coming from you, perhaps even a decrement. Besides this, you seemed to have AFK’ed a lot or prioritize gameplay over your role as a helper, and often left me and other staff members to deal with issues you often had to handle on your own. This isn’t to say helpers should be taking complete care of the chat and that JMods or higher shouldn’t, but it makes sense from my own point of view that I could rely on a helper to take care of chat moderation while I perform gameplay moderation. Even when I tried to rely on you to do the same, I often found myself taking care both of chat and gameplay moderation, and often had to call for assistance from other staff members while I could witness you online and AFK/playing. Of course I don’t expect you to never play again and just look at chat all day, but I was hoping for a little more dedication from you to a role you applied to and took upon yourself.

You are a nice person and I’m glad that you’re on the team. Conversely, you did not seem to put as much effort into helping out during the time period I was a KitPvP moderator. Subsequently, I hope you understand that I am unable to see you as fit for a promotion at this time.

I have been struggling with mental health the past year that’s why I have a decrease in activity especially the past 3 months. Bfi knows this. Thanks for the information. I appreciate it.

That’s fine, I’m really glad that your health has improved! I’d never want to see someone force themself to play despite struggles in their life. I’m just recommending that you take some time to get reacquainted with the server before you try to jump headfirst into the Jmod role and the responsibilities that come with it.

Pretty much everything McDonalds said, you’re a really nice person and I don’t have anything against you, I just don’t believe you’re quite ready for JMod yet. And I don’t want you to force yourself to play when you’re dealing with mental health problems, of course it would make sense to be inactive during it, but seeing as your mental health has approved I believe you should put more time and effort into kit before you really are ready for JMod. Regardless, good luck!

ok so i got a few things to say

  1. u afk’d alot and from my past experiences i barely even saw you in the actual mode, u were just at the ledge of the spawn…

  2. u are mature, ill giv u dat, but like i dont think this overcomes the issues that Mcdonalds and Local said. Obviously i cant actually confirm this issue stated by them as i have no proof of this but mcdonalds and local become serious when it comes with apps, so im gonna have to go with their side.

  3. hope your mental health gets better!!!

Ill give it a -0.25 for now, hopefully this increases!!!

+0.75 I feel like everything is good, just if you were able to elaborate some of your questions in your application I would rate this a +1. Like here, “out of 10 (with 10 being very knowledgeable), how would you rate your knowledge on moderating a community? 8/10” I would like to see why. And for a few of the other questions I would just like some more detail and explaining of why. great luck!

Thank you for the feedback, it is very appreciated.

To address some of the points you made, when I first got helper I was on almost everyday once I finished work. I’m not sure if we were on the server at different times due to time zones but I was fairly active when I first got helper. As I mentioned in a reply to Zombie, I’ve had a few rough patches the previous year in which I was not very active. It might have been during one of those that you noticed my lack of activity.

I also agree with your point about my subpar performance in regards to moderating chat when you were a mod. A large part of that stems from the fact that I have a learning disability. In short it just takes me longer to learn stuff. Since then I’ve been working on improving and being better at moderating chat.
