Map

The Plan is Simple:

Vote between 1 and 10 on the maps! As a favour, I’d love if you could tell me why your least favourite map is as such: constructive feedback is highly appreciated on all maps!

Probably the revamps because old Mineshaft and Ice Bridges are now Mineshaft and Ice Bridges legacy

Revamp: AFAIK all of the maps on the poll are jn rotation.
I forgot that some Legacy maps are in rotation though, ill make a separate poll once i find out which other maps are left out.

All of the NYBC map’s (The North Pole, Winter Wonderland, Acid Rain, Santa’s Solitude, Strange Dream and Koi Pond) are missing.

I only voted on a few of the maps, just the ones that really stick out to me. As such i will be properly reviewing as was suggested in this post

This map has absolutely no room on the walls to do anything, despite being more visually appealing than the original mineshaft it does not play well.

A wonderful nostalgia trip for one of my favorite series, this map plays incredibly well. with a wonderful balance of flat ground, wall area, hidden chests, and build quality, maps built by longstanding players and members of the community in collaboration with eachother always turn out awesome, this is a perfect example of that.

This map is visually apealing, but that is a very small factor to me when it comes to reviewing maps. One of my favorite features of this map as a glider main is the faucet. This map is based after the incredibly successful kitchen and bedroom maps. ImBoris and Beanep know what they’re doing when it comes to making maps.

My all time favorite map, while this is mostly because im a glider main i still really enjoy the way it plays. It’s always fun to play this map and rack up a high kill game, having lots of open area to pvp is always fun as well. and the abundance of chests is something not seen on many maps.

PSA to mapmakers: Stop trying to remake maps that are already fantastic. This map is FAR too tall for a woolwars map and far too wide to be easily traversed. Not to mention the massive advantage it gives camel with the 20+ chests on the floor at the start of the game. This map took what made colosseum amazing and ruined it.

Another map that is incredibly visually appealing and nostalgic. I love the Harry Potter series. However, having only one area on the ENTIRE MAP that is suitable for pvp is not ideal. Despite it looking amazing this map does not play well.

I call it bedroom (because thats what it is) i have so many fond memories of this map, from back in 1.0 where you could obtain enchanted golden apples and diamond armor. As a glider main i love the fishtank in this map, it is high up enough that if you fall from anywhere other than the ceiling fan you cant make it there, but if you happen to be there its a nice thing to land in. The map also has lots of flat ground and despite being not the greatest looking map, is incredibly great to play. that is what matters

This map plays like crap even as a glider main where i can technically fall anywhere and be guaranteed to live, you basically cannot jump on this map without getting stuck in a web. Not to mention it looks like a 6 year old built it. This is by far my least favorite map in the game, as such i am giving it a 1

STOP REMAKING MAPS THAT ARE GOOD This is a fun map that is balanced for all kits, despite it not having many chests and only two main platforms to PvP on its fun. Much better than the remake that was obviously designed to favor glider.

AGREE with absolutely everything said here ice (apart from maybe colosseum, I think it’s a little too PvP-based which is bad for me because I suck at PvP)
